White Papers

Broadband Vantage has jointly developed two new "Best Practice Guides" with UKSPA to help property owners with developing infrastructure for Broadband and Telephone Services.

They can be downloaded here.

Bob Cushing

Bob has been in the IT and Telecoms industry since the early 80’s and took Redstone to the LSE in 1999 with the first Local Loop Unbundling plan. After developing the SDSL product for BT as Head of Broadband for the SME unit he ran an ISP specialising in multi-tenanted property which created the basic model for much of the work Broadband Vantage undertakes. Having co-developed a BSI standard and written best practice guides for the UK Science Park Association his skills are in demand for each of the sectors BbV is active in.

As founder of BbV Bob does most of the customer facing work but also does much of the strategic marketing and commercial and procurement work
Darryl Kennedy

Darryl joined BbV in 2014 after many years in corporate IT and Networking. He has recently completed his Cisco CCNA qualification and will be responsible for technical surveys, research, network design and mapping activities, amongst others.
Tom Foale

After many years with BT, Tom was one of the founders of Urban WiMAX which developed a profitable model for delivering business services over wireless. More recently he has helped develop a Next Generation Access strategy for Saudi Arabia and worked on a variety of business models and investment strategies. Tom focuses on commercial models, analysis and wireless programmes

Martin Wall

After many years working for BT and cable companies, Martin joined Redstone and undertook the first LLU build. He was then SVP Engineering for UPC, the largest cable company in Europe, and has built more fibre and NGA networks than just about anybody. Martin brings skills in network build, management and project management to the company.
